Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology successfully celebrated National Science Day 2025 on 28th February, commemorating the discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V. Raman. The event featured a live streaming of NSD-2025inaguaral session by Chief Minister, MP Dr Mohan Yadav from MPCST Bhopal, followed by a series of engaging activities aimed at promoting scientific awareness and innovation.
The program began with the Lamp Lighting and Saraswati Vandana, setting a reverent tone for the day. A floral welcome was extended, and Dr. Aaquil Bunglowala, Director of Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology, delivered a warm welcome address. This was followed by a thought-provoking short movie on “The Ethics of Science in Movies.”
Two expert lectures captivated the audience: Mr. Lakhan Patel, Ex Assistant Director of All India Radio and Doordarshan and CEO of Divergent Technologies, discussed “The Role of Science in Sustainable Development,” and Mr. Manish Joshi, GM of Siglent Technology Co. Ltd., shared insights on “Sir C.V. Raman’s Scientific Discovery and Exploration.”
Simultaneously, a Science Model Competition on the theme “Science & Technology Helping Humankind” was held, showcasing innovative models by enthusiastic participants. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, a heartfelt vote of thanks by Prof. Amit Holkar, and a token of remembrance to honor the contributions of all involved. The program was conducted by Prof Jahnavi Raghuvanshi.
The celebration ended on a delightful note with refreshments, leaving attendees inspired and motivated to further their scientific endeavors. The organizing committee extends heartfelt gratitude to all the coordinators, participants, and guests for making the event a resounding success.
