Amidst all the negativity like non payment of salaries and firing from jobs for Higher education teachers during pandemics, Parul University of Gujrat set an example how an organization can stand by its employees during crises.
The top management of PU decided to donate their salaries to ensure increments of staff members.
Dr Devanshu Patel, President of Parul Patel wrote on his Linkedin wall that, “Every single one of the 4 000 employees of PU, is a treasurable gift that we are thankful for today. As a family, we value how every day, even through these difficult pandemic times, you have continued being gifts to Parul University and for that we are THANKFUL. You have given your time, your energy and your love, and to express our heartfelt appreciation for your wonderful commitment, myself Dr. Devanshu, President & Associate Professor, Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Parul Patel, Director of Admissions and Professor, Materia Medica, Faculty of Homeopathy, Dr. Komal Patel and Dr Geetika Madan Patel, Medical Directors, we have thought to say thank you by donating our salaries and sitting charges towards the increments of our employees. This small gesture may not be enough for all the 4 000 men and women around us, but this is our part in ensuring that no one ever gets to loose their increments.
