NMIMS Indore organized the second edition of “The Sunday Tech Series”on “Getting Started with Python”on 21st June 2020 at 4 pm to utilize the time during LOCKDOWN. “The Sunday Tech Series” is a series of webinar launched by the STME, NMIMS Indore Campus to make the best use of technology and time during this Pandemic and to not limit the learning process.
It will include webinars conducted every Sunday focusing on different programming languages and many more by students of our school. These webinars are open to students who are interested to build their career in IT / Management etc. from class 10th to 12th as well as first and second Year college students. More than 500 participants registered in the webinar not only from various parts of the country but even from countries like USA, Saudi Arabia, Ethopia and Oman as well.
The webinar began with the introduction of Dr. Alka Mahajan,Dean of MPSTME, NMIMS University. She enlightened the participants with her opening address and briefed abouttechnology and its wide use in modern world as well as the importance of Python as a programming language. She also enlightened the students about the scope of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
The campus director Dr. Prachi Gharpurealso participated in the webinar. The webinar was very lively and the response received was amazing. The participants were very enthusiastic throughout the webinar and by the end they were able to develop a project using Python.
