CII – Young Indians in association with Native Lead Foundation and TBI at Kongu
Engineering College organised the `Startup Mania 9.0’ contest for students, graduate and startups during November – December 2024. Around 250 ideas were received under student category from 41 colleges across 16 districts and around 60 entries were received under graduates & startups category from 7 districts across TamilNadu.
After 2 rounds of evaluation, 17 ideas under student category and 6 ideas under graduates and startups category were selected. Final Pitch was held at TBI@KEC and winners were identified. Start-up Mania 9.0 came to a grand conclusion with the event “Erode –Entrepreneurship Conference and Awards Ceremony”. Mr.C.Chandrasekaran, Managing Director – Eco Protection Engineers Pvt Ltd was the chief guest. He delivered the keynote address and also gave away the cash prizes worth of Rs.1,00,000/- to the winners.
Totally, 13 patents filed, 7 new entity formed, 13 awards won and fund raising for a tune of Rs.330 lakhs were achieved by the participants (finalist/winner) of earlier 8 editions. The event was attended by office bearers and members of CII- Young Indians (Erode Chapter) and NAN Erode and Dr.V.Balusamy, Principal, KEC.
