Indore, June 2026: Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology (SAIT), Indore, successfully organized
National Technology Day 2026 through a series of activities held from 9th May to 6th June 2026,
under the national theme “Responsible Innovation & Inclusive Growth.” The celebration was
coordinated by Prof. Shikha Panchariya and Prof. Ranvijay Parmar, Assistant Professors, SAIT, with
sanctioned support from the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (MPCST), Bhopal.
The celebrations commenced on 9th May 2026 with an Educational Visit to the AICTE IDEA Lab and
Anechoic Chamber at Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS), Indore,
where students explored advanced prototyping tools and precision testing facilities used for antenna
and Electromagnetic Interference/Compatibility (EMI/EMC) research.
On 1st June 2026, the SAIT Innovation & Project Exhibition provided a platform for students to
showcase innovative projects spanning IoT, robotics, renewable energy, and smart systems,
reflecting the interdisciplinary spirit of the theme and aligning student innovation with the national
vision of Viksit Bharat.
The main event was held on 3rd June 2026, featuring an Expert Talk on “Responsible Innovation &
Inclusive Growth”, followed by an Interactive Q&A and Student Demonstration Session.
Distinguished resource persons, including Mr. Sharad Laad, Principal Architect, Zooper.ai, Indore;
Mr. Nilesh Maheshwari, CEO, Emorphis Technology, Indore; and Dr. Anupam Mandloi, Vice
Principal, SAIT, shared their insights on ethical and inclusive technological practice, engaging directly
with students on emerging technologies and career pathways.
On 4th June 2026, students undertook an Industrial Visit to Gorani Industries Ltd., Sukhliya, Indore,
a leading manufacturer of electrical transformers, gaining first-hand exposure to the complete
manufacturing lifecycle from design and winding to assembly and quality control.
The celebrations concluded on 6th June 2026 with a Workshop on “Empowering Innovation
through Solar Technology,” featuring hands-on demonstrations, group discussions, and case studies
that inspired students toward sustainable, clean-energy innovation.
The programme, attended by 141 beneficiaries with significant representation from women
participants, was widely appreciated for its well-rounded blend of industrial exposure, research
infrastructure access, expert mentorship, and student innovation. The initiative strengthened SAIT’s
commitment to nurturing responsible, inclusive, and future-ready engineers in line with the national
vision of Viksit Bharat.
