Commander Kuldeep S Nehra, Quality Assurance Officer, Bhopal Unit of Directorate General of
Quality Assurance (DGQA), Ministry of Defence held detailed discussions with the Institute Director
Prof. C.C. Tripathi for mutual cooperation. On this occasion, Institute Director Prof. C.C. Tripathi said
that our Institute is dedicated for training human resources. Our Institute is fully capable of providing in-
service education, recognition of prior education and experience, and creation of courses and training
programs for the employees of the defence sector as per specific requirements. NITTTR Bhopal will feel
proud to work with the Ministry of Defence in any form, and cooperation between the two institutions
can create many new possibilities. Commander Kuldeep S Nehra visited the Industry 4.0 laboratories of
the Center of Excellence of NITTTR Bhopal and appreciated the tremendous technological advancement
of the Institute. He said that NITTTR Bhopal can work in collaboration with various defense institutions
and play an important role in providing training in advanced technology in the defense sector. NITTTR
Bhopal’s high-quality technical facilities and training programs can be helpful in meeting the modern
needs of the defense sector. A possible Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NITTTR
Bhopal and the Ministry of Defense was also discussed, which would establish a formal agreement for
future cooperation and partnership between the two institutions. On this occasion Dean Corporate and
International Relations of NITTTR Bhopal Prof. PK Purohit, Prof. Manish Bhargava and Major Nishant
Ojha were also present.
