New Delhi, December 13, 2025: Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) celebrated its 3rd Convocation at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, awarding degrees to 2,450 students, including 35 Ph.D. scholars and multiple gold medalists. The event was attended by Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor and Chancellor Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena, Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta, Education Minister Shri Ashish Sood, and Chief Guest Shri Sanjay Gupta, President of Google APAC.

The ceremony featured the unveiling of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose statues at NSUT’s East and West campuses and inaugurations of a Skill Centre and a Centre of Excellence in Industry 4.0, reinforcing NSUT’s commitment to research and skill development. The convocation theme, “Engineering Education for Sustainable and Inclusive Development,” guided speeches emphasizing ethical innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity.

Google announced dedicated funding for NSUT students to pursue research internships in AI and related fields, complementing its ongoing support for India’s research ecosystem. Leaders highlighted NSUT’s role as a model institution and urged graduates to tackle challenges like climate change, digital equity, and urban sustainability with responsibility and empathy.
The event concluded with the Convocation Pledge, marking a milestone in NSUT’s journey as a premier technological university committed to advancing education, research, and societal progress.
