Indore: Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology (SAIT), Indore, celebrated World Water Day 2026 through a series of engaging and innovative student-centric activities aimed at creating awareness about water conservation, sustainable water management, and the need to protect precious water resources.
The programme was organized with the support of the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (MPCST), Bhopal, with the objective of encouraging students to understand contemporary water-related challenges and develop a sense of environmental responsibility.
As part of the celebrations, a variety of creative and educational competitions were organized, including Aqua Rangoli, Poster Making, Collage Making, Short Film Making, and Quiz Competitions. These activities provided students with an interactive platform to express their creativity, scientific understanding, and innovative ideas on water conservation and sustainability.
The programme also featured expert interactions on water conservation and sustainable practices, offering students valuable insights into critical issues such as water pollution, conservation strategies, wastewater management, efficient utilization of water resources, and sustainable solutions for emerging water challenges.
Students participated enthusiastically in all activities and demonstrated their creativity, scientific awareness, and commitment towards environmental sustainability. Their active involvement reflected the growing awareness among young learners about the importance of responsible water use and conservation.
The programme concluded with the recognition of outstanding student performances through prizes and appreciation, encouraging students to continue contributing towards environmental protection and sustainable development.
