ATAL FDP Explores Vehicle Sustainability and Electric Futures at Methodist College

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Methodist College of Engineering and Technology in Hyderabad recently hosted a one-week ATAL Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled “Conventional Vehicle Sustainability and Future of Electric Vehicles.” With over 50 participants from various academic institutions in India, the program aimed to enhance faculty members’ knowledge through interactions with industry and academic experts. Topics covered included alternate fuels, future technology trends in the automotive industry, and the role of electric vehicles in reducing emissions. Renowned faculty members from esteemed institutes served as resource persons for the program. Overall, the event successfully upgraded participants’ skills and knowledge in the field.
