Kurukshetra, 8 December. A state level seminar on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti is going to be organised on 12th January 2025 at Srimad Bhagwad Gita Sadan of Kurukshetra University. The Chief Guest of this seminar will be Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda who will launch a massive campaign of National Education Policy-2020. During a conversation, Vice Chancellor KUK Prof Som Nath Sachdeva said that it is a matter of pride for the university to host state level seminar to commemorate Vivekanand Jayanti and start a massive campaign of NEP 2020 by the Hon’ble Haryana Education Minister. Prof Sachdeva added that in this seminar, detailed discussions and comprehensive suggestions will also be taken from all sections directly or indirectly associated with the education sector on various significant aspects of the National Education Policy. In this programme, a portal, Google Form, suggestion box will also be launched by the Education Minister for suggestions and all these will be open from January 12 to February 2. In this regard, Vice-Chancellor Prof Som Nath Sachdeva chaired the meeting for the celebration of Swami Vivekanand Jayanti and NEP-2020 state level campaign.
Deputy Director PRO KUK Dr Jimmy Sharma informed that as per information received from Higher Education Haryana, a schedule of meetings for State Nodal Officers NEP with the principals and representatives, teachers and students of 75 government colleges of Gurugram division on January 2, 90 government colleges of Rohtak division on January 3, 74 of Hisar division and 54 government colleges of Ambala division and 51 government colleges of Karnal division on January 7 was released for the smooth organization of this seminar.
