IPA State Level Competitions to Junior Scientists

Indian Physical Association, Indore Chapter with MP Council of Science & Technology and Shri G. S. Institute of Technology & Science, Indore invites student community to participate in the Science Popularization activities.
Competition:

1. E-Quiz : Quiz on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology at levels appropriate to each group. The questions may be MCQ, fill in the blanks, True/False, etc.
2. STEM Skill Test: This online competition will test the Science, Engineering, Technology & Mathematics skills of the students.
3. Essay Writing: Essays are invited on any one of the following topics.
   A.INDIA-2047, My Vision on Science & Technology.
   B.Why Vikram Sarabhai is my role model?
   C.For S&T, COVID-19: is a blessing or a damnation!
   Plagiarism above 25% (10 words) will be rejected. Submit essay in anyone of the following formats: txt, doc, docx, tex. PDF files will not be considered.
   Target Groups (Studying in MP only):
   A. Studying X-std (Current year 20-21)
   B. Studying XII – std (Current year 20-21)
   C. Students of UG degree (Engg. & Science).
   How to Participate?
   Step 1: Open the link https://tinyurl.com/jrsc2020
   Step 2: Fill details to register on or before June 13, 2020, 5:00 pm.
   Step 3: Check your email for links to quiz, test or essay submission.
   Essay must be submitted by June 15, 2020, 5:00pm.
   Awards:
   First, Second and Third prizes and certificates.
   Recognitions for top 10 participants (certificates only), if more than 100 participants under any competition in a group.

General Rules:

1. Only the students studying in MP are eligible.
2. The decisions by the Judges & Experts are final.
3. No limitation on number of participants from any school/college.
4. Student verification is not required now. However, all the winners need to provide a certificate from the school/college that she/he is a bonafide student of current academic year 2020-21 or else the certificate & prize will be withdrawn and pass on to next in the list.
5. Detailed instructions, links, rules and help will be mailed to registered participants.
