Indore, January 4, 2025: In a notable step towards advancing academic excellence and fostering professional development, Vikrant Institute of Technology and Management, Indore, organized an NPTEL Awareness Workshop on Saturday, January 4, 2025. The event, held at the prestigious Vivekananda Hall, witnessed an impressive turnout of over 150 plus participants, including academicians, and professionals from Indore and neighboring regions
The program began at 10:00 AM with an inspiring welcome address by Dr. Sandeep Shukla, Assistant Managing Director of Vikrant Group of Institutions, Indore. Dr. Shukla emphasized the institution’s unwavering commitment to empowering students and faculty through innovative and transformative learning opportunities.
The workshop was honored by the presence of Mr. Shib Shankar Das from IIT Madras, who delivered a compelling keynote address. As the eminent speaker, Mr. Das shed light on the NPTEL, its diverse offerings of online courses, and the transformative impact of NPTEL certifications in enhancing academic and professional trajectories.
The event was further graced by the distinguished presence of Mr. Nitin Singh Tomar, Managing Director of Vikrant Group of Institutions, Indore, and Mrs. Garima Singh Tomar, the Treasurer of the institution. The workshop was meticulously coordinated by Dr. Rajesh Rathore, the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the NPTEL Vikrant Indore Chapter. Dr. Rathore played a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of the event.
